COMMERCIAL MANAGEMENT

(CHARTERING / OPERATIONS / POSTFIXTURE)

  • Search and selection of best suitable employment in line with vessel’s cargo/ trading exclusions, using our selective network of brokers/ direct cargo clients
  • Close coordination with the Master of the vessel regarding intake/ stow plans/ itinerary/ suitability for the ports call/ restrictions
  • Preparation of voyage estimation, negotiate and fix the cargo or time charter employment
  • After fixing, sending detailed instructions to the master together with clean recap and any other relevant information/ details for Master to plan and prepare for the voyage
  • Making sure port agents are appointed in line with employment type and details
  • Negotiation and arrangement of bunker supply concurrent with vessels itinerary/ bunkers remaining on board/ trading pattern at a competitive price
  • Detailed reporting to owners before/ after fixture
  • After voyage completion, preparation of lay time calculations and negotiations in case of dispute
  • Issuance of freight invoices in line with the charter party terms
  • Follow-up on outstanding payments
  • Preparation of a final voyage report and review

DRY DOCK & REPAIR

MINSHIP understands that completing dry docking-, repair- and conversion projects in a quality-related, timely and cost efficient manner is the key element for Owners. This is guaranteed by the policy of MINTEC Shipmanagement GmbH & Co. KG (a subsidiary of MINSHIP) that two superintendents accompany each project.

NEWBUILDING SUPERVISION

MINSHIP is highly experienced in the supervision of newbuilding projects and conversions in both, China and Japan. In the last decades, MINSHIP’s team of experts supervised the newbuilding of several bulk carriers from Handysize to Panamax and the conversion of various bulk carriers to combined cargo carriers.

ICT manages systems both for the head office and for the vessels and provides an efficient workflow environment. This is achieved with a powerful combination of proven software, as well as specialized tools and internally developed applications enabling e.g. remote maintenance.

SALE & PURCHASE

MINSHIP offers shipmanagement “from the cradle to the grave” which includes newbuilding supervision and Sale & Purchase services for our customers. We have a longstanding experience in newbuildings, resales and also second-hand transactions.

FORWARDING

In addition to transport solutions on the high seas, we offer freight forwarding services, such as rail, road, inland waterway and container shipments.
