The location in the South of Germany may seem odd at first since there is no ocean nearby. But modern communication technology has made it possible to operate a shipping company successfully from anywhere in the world, not just from an ocean port. The success of MST confirms this.

Since started, the company has grown from zero to a large fleet of dry bulk vessels in the size of 21,000 – 38,000 tons. MST also operates five combination vessels for dry and liquid products with a total carrying capacity of approximately 129,000 DWAT.

In addition, up to 60 ships per year are chartered as required. Via our Dutch sister company, Vertom, an extensive fleet of coasters (40+) is managed and partly owned.
